A Personal Studio Practice in Handcrafted Glass

The Glass House is a small-batch glass artistry studio by Jennifer Mesa, focused on handmade work for homes, gifts, and meaningful keepsakes.

My background

I came to stained glass through a love of architecture, color, and patient handwork. What started as a hobby turned into a steady studio rhythm of sketching, cutting, grinding, and soldering one piece at a time.

Why stained glass

Glass changes with the day. Morning light can feel soft and cool, while evening light makes the same panel glow warm and saturated. That living quality is what keeps me returning to the craft.

Inspiration and process

Most designs begin from natural patterns, old windows, and geometric motifs. I draw each pattern, choose every color by hand, and assemble with copper foil and solder before final polishing and finishing.

Whether a piece is made for a show or a custom client request, the goal is the same: create work that feels calm, intentional, and full of light.
